As the Saudi-led bloc has extended deadline given to Qatar to comply with 13-point list of demands, the Qatari people have reacted to the move terming it another defeat of siege countries.
Walad Al Arab, in comment on Qatarshare.com, said that they have given time to themselves to think what to do because they have failed to achieve their goals and now are not ready to acknowledged their failure.
"Qatar's leadership has shutdown all doors and windows on them. They are in siege now, not Qatar. Qatar is on high moral grounds and the Emir is on the right path therefore he will win said a comment in Qatarshare.com.
Qatar has submitted its response to Kuwait on the demands of the four Arab countries imposing blockade. In a joint statement, the siege countries yesterday said that they had extended the deadline upon Kuwait's request.
"Some experts and commentators were expecting Qatar to request extension of the deadline which Qatar did not do because the Qatari stance was very clear from the very first day that there is no compromise on its sovereignty," said one of the citizens commenting on the deadline extension news.
Saei Al Khair said: 'They were shocked with unity of people with leadership, the solidarity of GCC citizens and the entire Arab people with Qatar. People know that Qatar has done nothing to be punished or boycotted. Arab citizens know who is behind the crisis. Terror funding has been used as an excuse, and people know who is the real sponsor of terrorism whether in Syria, in Iraq or Afghanistan."

Abu Yusuf noted: "What made me feel sad is that the US administration knows that Qatar hosts leaders of Hamas and Taliban upon their request and they kept issuing nonsense statements."
Another person commented that siege countries know that none of their demands will be accepted by Qatar. "They are paving the way to land in the lap of Tel Aviv, and they want to shutdown Al Jazeera because they are afraid of it. Additionally, they want to put in jail anyone who is against Zionism; it is an Arab Zionism which was hidden in hotels for years and now has come out in public.
As long as the crisis not settled, another Qatari wrote: "I call upon all Qataris to cancel their summer vacations abroad this year to stand beside the Emir H H Shiekh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani."
The Emir of Kuwait is the one who has asked for extension because everyone knows his role has been great, said Ahmed in a comment.
Foreign Ministers of Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain will meet in Cairo tomorrow to discuss the crisis in light of the Qatari response.
