(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- One Lamborghini car was completely destroyed while another suffered minor damage in a fire at the service centre of Shanfari Automotive Company in Al Khuwayr on Monday morning.
The service centre too suffered extensive damage. However, there are no reports of any casualties.
A PACDA team rushed to the site to douse the fire.
Speaking to Muscat Daily, Naser Hamad al Wahaibi, director of Administration and Public Relations at the Shanfari Group of Companies said, 'The fire was detected by an employee at 9.17am at the service centre of Shanfari Automotive Company. We immediately contacted PACDA.'
Wahaibi said that there were four Lamborghinis in the service centre at the time of the incident. 'One car was completely destroyed while another suffered partial damage. The service centre spread over 1,000sq m suffered extensive damage too.'
He said that ROP is investigating the cause of fire.
