Oman condemns terror attacks in Syria, Iraq


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- Oman on Monday condemned terror attacks in Syria and Iraq that led to the deaths of people and injuries to many.

Suicide bombings in the Syrian capital Damascus killed more than 30 people and injured others while a suicide bombing at a refugee camp in Anbar province in Iraq killed and injured the displaced.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that terror attacks against innocent people show lack of religious and moral faith of perpetrators and planners. These are criminal actions against all norms, religions and humanitarian values, the ministry said.

Oman has expressed condolences to the families of the victims, the governments of Iraq and Syria, and wished the wounded a speedy recovery.
