(MENAFN) Kuwaiti bank do not have the intention to withdraw their deposits and investment from Qatar, as proclaimed a Kuwaiti official source.
Meanwhile, Kuwaiti banks had not proclaimed plans to remove deposits or take other exceptional measures when emphasizing their exposure to Qatar.
"This reflects the confidence of Kuwaiti banks and Kuwaiti companies in the financial solvency of the state of Qatar, the Qatari banks and financial institutions and their ability to meet their obligations," said the source.
Moreover, Burgan Bank proclaimed its whole exposure to Qatar was USD220mn, or 0.9 percent of the bank's total assets.
