UN force attendance in Lebanon is 'unimportant'

(MENAFN) Israel authorized one of its anonymous military sources to charge the UN Interim Force in Lebanon of becoming an excuse for Hezbollah and blames the Lebanese government of violating UN resolution.

Furthermore, such accusations were routine pronouncements and Israel aimed UN troops with fatal consequences.

In 2006, it killed four unarmed global observers, one each from Austria, Canada, China and Finland.

Additionally, the last round of the confrontations between both sides gained momentum a few days ago after Israel claimed that Hezbollah was building observation posts.
