US investors seek Europe for new investments

(MENAFN) US activist shareholders and investors are currently searching for big dividends in European companies as they bought big brands like Apple, Pepsi and Yahoo from US.

Gregory Taxin, managing director of Spotlight Advisory said: "No company is really immune from activism except perhaps for the very largest companies."

Also he added that the current targets for now are Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz, and companies that have a lot of cash that wasn't returned to shareholders.

However, US billionaire investor Daniel Loeb announced last week his plans to acquire USD3.5bln of Nestle shareholders, and then he confirmed that he is seeking European firms.
