Jordan- Arab forum to discuss role of SMEs in economic development


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, July 2 (Petra)--A regional forum will be held in Amman later this month to discuss the role of Small and Medium Size Enterprises (SMEs) in achieving economic development and social justice.

The event, which is organized by the Union of Arab Banks in cooperation with the Central Bank of Jordan and the Association of Banks in Jordan, will also shed light on the important role of SMEs in fighting poverty and unemployment, supporting the youth and enabling them to address difficult economic conditions.

The forum, which will be held during July 19-20, will also tackle strategies and mechanisms of supporting these projects and the role of Islamic banks in financing SMEs.
