(MENAFN) Iraqi government forces revealed that they have freed other regions in the country, saying that they have murdered around 79 ISIS militants in Mosuls Old City.
Additionally, the Defense Ministrys War Media Cell stated that the soliders the army"s Counter-Terrorism Forces has taken back Mekkawi area in the Old City.
On the other hand, Federal Police chief, Lt. Gen. Shaker Jawdat, posted that his soldiers have killed all the militants and rescued about 550 civilians after taking over Bab Jadid neighborhood in the Old City.
