Oman and US back Kuwaiti emir's mediation efforts


(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Oman's Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs Yousuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah received a telephone call yesterday from US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson.
During the phone call, the two sides reviewed the developments in the region and the current Gulf crisis, according to Oman news agency ONA.
They expressed their confidence and support for the efforts exerted by the Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah, and his good offices to contain the Gulf crisis and expressed their hope that these efforts will be supported by all parties in order to maintain the security and stability of the GCC countries.
