Kuwait- No chaos as travelers praise airport workers

(MENAFN- Arab Times) The arrivals hall at the Kuwait International Airport wears a deserted look as the usual rush of relatives and friends who throng the airport to receive their loved ones after the holidays is missing.

KUWAIT CITY, June 29: After a few days of hustle and bustle, the arrival lounge as well as rest of Kuwait International Airport was quiet on Wednesday contrary to expectations of the first working day after Eid Al-Fitr, reports Al-Rai daily.

The roads leading to the airport as well as the parking lots were almost empty without the usual sight of relatives and friends who throng the airport awaiting their beloved ones. The morning arrival flights between 9 and 11 am were from Sharjah, Doha, Iran, Dubai, Bahrain, Beirut and Sohag, and majority of the passengers were citizens of those countries returning after spending their regular leave during that period of the year.

A number of arriving passengers affirmed that their arrival procedures took only a few minutes for completion and their exit was smooth. They praised the speed at which their procedures were completed by the adequate number of immigration staff. Majority of these passengers had expected the airport to be in a state of congestion and chaos, as is the usual case after Eid Al-Fitr holidays every year.
