(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- As part of its celebrations during Ramadan, Bank Sohar hosted an annual iftar party for its corporate clients at Bait al Shams – The Cave. In addition to symbolising a gesture of appreciation for the ongoing trust and support of this customer base, the evening served as an ideal platform for socialising, networking, strengthening ties in the corporate sector and forging new partnerships.
The iftar gathering was attended by a large number of individuals from the corporate sector where representing the bank and welcoming the guests to the event were Sasi Kumar, acting CEO; Mustafa Ali Mukhtar, DGM and acting head Wholesale Banking; other senior officials from the bank and members of staff from its Wholesale Banking Division.
Kumar said, 'We are happy and honoured to once again celebrate Ramadan with our corporate clients. This iftar is symbolic of the strong relationships we have built over the years and the loyalty and trust that has developed as a result. It is also a gesture of thanks and appreciation to our clients for staying with us all these years. These occasions help us connect better with our clients, strengthen relationships and gain a better understanding of their financial requirements.'
The positive turnout at the event is a reflection of the bank's strong lead in the wholesale banking segment, which has played a pivotal role in securing greater involvement of the private sector in the economy's growth. The division has helped address the requirements of a broader range of customers, in the large, mid, emerging corporate segment and SMEs, by developing products that encompass the entire spectrum of financial requirements in the corporate sector.
