(MENAFN) Agricultural production from regional farms meets more than 15 percent of the nation's demand recently, up from 12 percent in 2014.
Additionally, the Ministry offers a lot of help to regional farms in order to increase production and to achieve self-sufficiency of agricultural resources.
Moreover, the whole area of agricultural land in the country is 65.000 hectare, and the number of regional farms is 1.290, according to 2015 statistics.
Meanwhile, the Ministry organized five annual activities as a help to local farms, and generated 300.000 cartons for farmers.
