The congress, a joint meeting of IACD (12th World Congress) and ACS(I) National Congress (ACSICON) had as its theme Cosmetic Dermatology Global Perspectives.

It was a privilege to be in the midst of some of the best names in the world of cosmetic dermatology, and I particularly felt honoured to share my experiences said Dr.Rinky Kapoor. Chosen to deliver three sessions and sit on a panel discussion, Dr.Rinkys association with the congress stems from her record breaking success in treatments. The Panel Discussion on Aesthetics in Adolescents on the third day was moderated by A Sathish as five panelists exchanged views on the latest developments.
The third day of the congress witnessed her sharing experiences on clinical trials of 4000 patients. Her talk on The Fractional Carbon Dioxide Laser for skin rejuvenation in pigmented skin received great appreciation as she retraced the painstaking documentation and techniques used. In her words This was one session that I really did not want to miss, as a large number of patients have benefitted from laser skin rejuvenation, while there are many who are badly in need of this treatment.
She, along with the others who spoke on treatments and research, were honoured with a plaque by the organizers. Symbolising the rich cultural heritage of the host city, the plaque was awarded in recognition of her contribution to the success of the event and her participation as a speaker cum panelist.
