Crude steel output up by about 1m tons in Iran


(MENAFN) World Steel Association (WSA) latest report showed that crude steel output in Iran has reached 8.159m tons during the January-May period of the year up by approximately 944,000 tons rise from tons in the same time span a year earlier.

Moreover, the data revealed that the country"s production of crude steel accounted for 1.620 million tons in May, in comparison with 1.565 million tons in the previous month.

On the other hand, WSA also announced Iran has generated 17.89 million tons of crude steel in the past year, up by 11% from 2015.
