Egypt strongly condemns attempted attack on Makkah
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) CAIRO, June 24 (KUNA) -- Egypt strongly condemned on Saturday the terrorist attempt to attack Makkah in Saudi Arabia, calling on the international community to join efforts in fighting terrorism.
In a statement released by the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the country expressed full support to Saudi Arabia in defending its security and stability.
Meanwhile, Egypt's Grand Mufti Shawki Allam also condemned the heinous terrorist act that targeted worshippers during the holy month of Ramadan and was foiled by Saudi authorities on Friday. (end) rg.ag
