S. Korean budget for science R&D projects up by 26%


(MENAFN) South Korea science ministry posted the country intends to boost its 2018 budget spending for science and technology R&D programs by about 26%.

The Ministry of Science, ICT, and Future Planning also revealed that it is likely to allocate 1.52 trillion won in the coming year over several science and technology R&D projects.

Moreover, it added that the determined money will help in securing critical information technologies, which include artificial intelligence (AI) as well as unmanned vehicle technologies.
