Iraqi police dismantles car bomb E. Baghdad


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) BAGHDAD, June 28 (KUNA) -- Iraqi police units dismantled a car laden with explosives near a crowded market in the capital, the interior ministry announced Wednesday.

The saloon car was parked by Sadriya market in eastern Baghdad and was loaded with explosive materials, ministry's press adviser Wahab Al-Tai said in a statement.

Specialized security units were able to dismantle the vehicle without causing human or property losses, he said, pointing out security bodies' keenness and vigilance in monitoring any suspicious situation and action, and protecting the security of citizens. (end) ahh.ma
