Kuwaiti oil barrel up USD 1.10 at USD 42.87 pb


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, June 28 (KUNA) -- The price of Kuwaiti oil barrel rose USD 1.10 to reach USD 42.87 per barrel on Tuesday, compared with USD 41.77 pb on Friday, said Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) on Wednesday.

Oil prices in international markets went up yesterday affected by the drop in the US Dollar's exchange rate and an expected decrease in American crude reserves for the third consecutive week. Brent crude oil rose 82 cents reaching USD 46.65 per barrel upon settlement and West Texas Crude went up 86 cents to reach USD 44.24 pb. (end) osj.ss
