Myanmar, South Africa promise to enhance joint trade


(MENAFN) An official revealed Myanmar and South Africa have jointly pledged to increase bilateral trade, adding that they will approve new memorandum of understanding (MoU) between key business organizations.

On the other hand, UMFCCI posted that after several chats amid U Zaw Win Min, president of the Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (UMFCCI), and Geoffery Doidge, the South African ambassador to Thailand both sides decided to ink this MoU.

Moreover, during the meeting, the two officials paid attention on improvement of business co-op between Myanmar and South Africa, support exports to S. Africa as well as increasing investment in Myanmar.
