Egypt's Sinai oil production grows by 17pct

(MENAFN) The Egyptian minister of petroleum and mineral resources proclaimed that oil production in Sinai fields grew from 1.200 to 1.400 barrels per day.

Furthermore, these fields involve Ras Sedr, Asl, and Matarma and they are collected on the eastern side of the Gulf of Suez.

Accordingly, raising production comes as a result of the agreement with Mediterra Energy Co.

Meanwhile, a report predicts another increase in production after finishing the maintenance of 24 wells, which would lead to an increase of 600-800 barrels per day.
