Jordan- Temperatures to soar 5 degrees above annual average


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, June 27 (Petra)-- Temperatures are going to be pushed a minimum of 5 degrees Celsius above the annual average for this time of the year, as dry and hot weather conditions are expected to prevail in the hilly areas, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily brief.

Winds will be north-westerly moderate picking up at night, the JMD added.

As of Wednesday, a slight drop in temperatures is expected, as hot and dry conditions are forecast nationwide.

Temperatures in the capital Amman will reach a high of 39 degrees Celsius during the day, dropping to 25 degrees at night.
