Abu Dhabi to issue USD653mln housing loans


(MENAFN) According to Abu Dhabi's government, there are plans to issue new set of housing loans to 1,250 beneficiraires in the emirate, which total worth is USD653m (DH2.4b) as part of its initiative to provide all the necessities of living and appropriate housing to its citizens.

The new loans batch will cover the needs and demands to build homes in different areas of Abu Dhabi.

While a total of 325 beneficires were selected to receive housing assistance wirth DH417m under the Shiekh Zayed Housing Program, Minister of Infrastructure Development and chairman of the program, said the good news was conveyed ahead of Eid Al Fitr to bring a smile on the faces of the eligible recipients.

And he said: "This underscores the leadership's commitment to bring joy to citizens on the happy occasion and the government's persistent efforts to improve the quality of life for citizens."
