New York, 29 Ramadan 1438H corresponding to 24 June 2017 SPA -- The Yemeni government welcomed the visit of foreign journalists to all parts of Yemen and reporting on what they see on the ground.
"The Yemeni government wants the world to know what is really happening in Yemen, so it wants local journalists to be free to convey what they see," the Yemeni Permanent Mission to the United Nations said in a press release carried by the Yemeni news agency.
"We want foreign journalists to visit all over Yemen and report what they see, but the Huthi rebels do not want so for the obvious reason that conveying the truth is going to expose them to international condemnation, the statement said.
