Media has been circulating that the government intends to extend the holiday through Thursday, contrary to the official statements. As for other private and independent bodies, including schools and universities, some have decided to extend the holiday through Thursday, according to their own agendas.
Typically, this gave the impression that an impending decision to extend the holiday is actually underway. However, the government has confirmed that no such decision is being considered, and that all operations will resume, accordingly, by Thursday morning.
