Kuwaiti oil barrel down 66 cents at USD 41.23


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, June 23 (KUNA) -- The price of Kuwaiti oil barrel dropped 66 cents to reach USD 41.23 per barrel on Thursday, compared to USD 41.89 pb on Wednesday, said Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) on Friday.

Oil prices rose in international markets yesterday as the Joint OPEC and Non-OPEC Ministerial Monitoring Committee announced that the rate for limiting oil production in May was 106 percent.

Meanwhile, Brent crude oil went up 40 cents to reach USD 45.22 pb upon settlement and US crude oil rose 21 cents reaching USD 42.74 pb. (end) osj.ag
