David W. Duffner, MD, MBA, FAAOS, Orthopedic Surgeon with his own practice, and affiliated with the Desert Regional Medical Center, has been named a 2017 Top Doctor in Palm Springs, California. Dr. David W. Duffner is a very experienced surgeon who has been in practice for over 37 years. His medical career started in 1979, when he graduated from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City. An internship and residency then followed at the Texas A & M - Scott and White Memorial Hospital in Temple, before he completed a fellowship in Adult Reconstructive Orthopedics at the University of Basel in Switzerland.
Dr. Duffner is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, and he provides surgical and non surgical solutions for a wide range of conditions and traumas, including sports injuries. He is particularly renowned, however, as an expert in spine surgery. Specialist procedures undertaken by him include herniated disc surgery, spinal fusion, spinal reconstructive surgery and spinal cord stimulation.
Dr. Duffner has earned the coveted title of Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, is an active member of the Riverside County Medical Association, and a founding member of the North American Spine Society. His expertise and dedication to the field of orthopedic surgery makes Dr. David W. Duffner a very deserving winner of a 2017 Top Doctor Award.
