UAE diplomat visits injured Yemenis in Indian hospital

NEW DELHI, 22nd June, 2017 (WAM) -- Dr. Salem Al Dhanhani, Deputy UAE Ambassador to India, visited the injured Yemenis who are recuperating at VPS Healthcare Group in New Delhi.

The UAE government is paying for the treatment of those injured in the war in their country.

The patients expressed gratitude to the UAE government for taking care of their health and wellbeing.

The Emirates Red Crescent, ERC, is co-ordinating with VPS Healthcare Group for the treatment of the Yemenis.

The gesture is part of the UAE's continuous efforts to alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people and strengthen their resilience while coping with the violations by the Houthis.
