Producer prices in S. Korea down over lower crude oil prices


(MENAFN) The Bank of Korea (BOK) stated that prices for products as well as services purchased amid suppliers in South Korea has declined for the third consecutive month on the back of cheaper crude oil.

The central bank further announced the producer price index (PPI) have hit 102.26 in May, marking a 0.2% reduction compared with February.

According to the released data, industrial goods prices shed by 0.5% in the preceding month, and prices for coal and oil products have fallen by 3.6%.
