Malaysia's inflation rises by 3.9% over higher fuel prices


(MENAFN) According to government figures, Malaysia's inflation, as measured by consumer price index (CPI), has surged by 3.9% year-on-year in May.

Additionally, Malaysia's Department of Statistics revealed the number was dropped compared with 4.4% gained in April.

On the other hand, the department further announced core inflation rose by 2.6% in the cited month from the same month of 2016.
