Egypt views USD43bn of British investments last decade


(MENAFN) The Egyptian minister of investment and global co-op proclaimed that the investments of British firms in the country reached USD43bn in the last ten years.

Accordingly, British firms expressed their aim to raise investments in Egypt, emphasizing that the Egyptian market remains open for British investments.

Furthermore, the regional manager for MENA in Actis, proclaimed that his firm's investments in Egypt reaches USD750mn.

Meanwhile, officials from Vodafone and HSBS expressed the plans to increase their business in Egypt, as Vodafone Egypt's director exposed his firm has collected EGP2bn for expansions this year.
