Kuwait oil price up 57 cents to USD 43.73 pb


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, June 17 (KUNA) -- The price of Kuwaiti oil went up by 57 cents to USD 43.73 per barrel Friday after being at USD 43.16 pb the day before, said Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) Saturday.

At the global level, the price was also up due to lower production rates and lack of growth in the number of drilling rigs in the US.

The price of the Brent crude was up by 45 cents to USD 47.37 pb, the same case with the West Texas Intermediate which went up by 28 cents to USD 44.47 pb. (end) osj.gta
