UAE- Overwhelming response to Empower's '8 Steps Educational Summer Campaign'

DUBAI, 28th May, 2017 (WAM) -- The '8 Step Educational Summer Campaign' of the Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation, Empower, the world's largest district cooling services provider, has been receiving an overwhelming response from customers, the company announced on Sunday.

The campaign, which will wrap up soon, focusses on raising awareness among customers about the best practices when seeking to minimise energy consumption. This will help reduce cooling bills and energy consumption during the upcoming summer. This comes before the company's primary summer campaign, aimed at increasing the preparedness of its customers for the season.

At the same time, Empower has urged its customers to stay optimally connected to its district cooling services this summer to beat the heat. The campaign provides tips on home maintenance before summer. It also seeks to improve performance and increase customer satisfaction, while saving energy and providing high-quality cooling.

The goal is to ensure customer happiness by providing sustainable cooling service. The 8 easy steps of the campaign include closing curtains, sealing door or window cracks, tinting glass doors or windows, reducing heat sources, checking AC thermostats, keeping AC filters clean, arranging periodic home maintenance and paying bills on time.

"We encourage our valued customers to update their information with the company on a regular basis, in a bid to ensure that they receive their bills on time. We also urge them to pay on time to avoid service disconnection, as well as extra reconnection fees. We offer our clients many options to pay their bills, including paying via our website, without the need to visit our servicing centres," said Ahmad bin Shafar, CEO of Empower.

Empower also calls for confirming customer and registration numbers before paying bills, to avoid mistakes that can lead to interruption of service. It advises its customers to perform regular maintenance and clean filters, which might be blocked and affect the cooling air flow.

Since its launch, Empower has been promoting the 8-Step Educational Campaign through leading media platforms, posters, flyers, roll-ups, danglers, glass branding, SMS, websites, e-flyers, press releases and giveaways. With the use of multiple communication channels, Empower has been able to reach out to a large number of clients and receive feedback about the campaign, which has turned out to be entirely positive as a result of its effect on energy consumption and cooling bills.
