UAE charity distributes food to the underprivileged in Pakistan on occasion of Ramadan

ISLAMABAD, 28th May, 2017 (WAM) -- The Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation has begun distributing food assistance to poor families in Pakistan, as part of its annual Ramadan Ration Programme.

During the Holy Month of Ramadan, which commenced yesterday, the foundation will provide food aid to the underprivileged, orphans, widows, those on social welfare, and the disabled, in six regions of the country, including Rahim Yar Khan, Rajanpur, Dera Ghazi Khan, and Khutti.

A spokesperson at the Khalifa Foundation said that the humanitarian assistance is within the framework of the foundation's Ramadan programmes that aim to support the needy in a number of sisterly and friendly countries around the world.
