(MENAFN) Whole number of mosques in Qatar has surpassed 2.000 mark, after the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs delivered and operated 16 mosques, at a cost of almost QR69mn.
Accordingly, projects, which were either finished or under building in many regions of the nation, involving a large mosque in the Towers Area ready to open soon.
Furthermore, the ministry has also expanded 18 mosques and Imam's accommodations in various areas at an almost cost of QR1mn.
Therefore, the Ministry took all ways and conducted maintenance work aimed at confirming the comfort for the worshipers, involving elect, air conditioning and other facilities.
