Algerian energy, finance ministers changed in reshuffle


(MENAFN) Algerian President named a new cabinet, replacing key posts involving the energy minister, finance minister and a long-serving foreign minister.

Meanwhile, Energy Minister was in Vienna for an OPEC meeting when the announcement was made, has been replaced with state gas agency chief Mustapha Guitouni.

Moreover, Finance Minister Hadii Ammi has been replaced Abderhmane Raouia, the tax department director at the finance ministry.

The country is in the middle of economic adjustments to cope with a drop in world oil prices that slashed its energy revenues.
