Washington, Sha'ban 29, 1438, May 25, 2017, SPA -- The White House said today that U.S. President Donald Trump met in Brussels today with the President of the European Council Donald Tusk and the President of the European Commission Jean Claude Junker.
The meeting discussed the common challenges facing the United States and the EU, citing the fight against international terrorism and the protection of the two fronts against it, the statement said, adding that the two sides agreed on the need to coordinate efforts to wage strategic war against terror.
Also discussed was the threat posed by North Korea, the statement said, saying that the two sides agreed on the importance of tightening the grip around North Korea to keep it isolated politically and economically.
