ABU DHABI, 27th May, 2017 (WAM) -- The International Security Alliance, formed in February 2017 between the United Arab Emirates, France, Italy, Spain, Senegal, Bahrain and Morocco, with a mission to tackle organised and transnational crime, has condemned the recent terrorist attacks in Minya, Egypt, Manchester, Britain and Jakarta, Indonesia that killed and injured dozens of innocent people.

In a statement, the Alliance said these acts are rejected by law, religion, values and humanitarian norms. It emphasised that the shedding of the blood of innocent people and the intimidation of the safe are proof that the perpetrators of these crimes have been stripped of their humanity.

The statement called upon the countries of the world to strengthen their efforts and co-operation and the international efforts to fight terrorism, dry up its sources and strengthen international co-operation to confront it after it has become a threat to the entire world.

The Alliance expressed its solidarity with the governments of Egypt, Britain, and Indonesia and its sincere condolences to families of the victims of all the recent terrorist attacks and wished as speedy recovery to those injured.

The Alliance said it will continue to act as a forum for sharing expertise and publishing a voice for such incidents.

Communication among the members will continue to grow where projects will involve the participation, exchange of best practices and training principals on police and security issues, in order to disrupt all future acts of organised and transnational crime, the Alliance said.
