Pakistan- Formation Commanders want FATA reforms according to wishes of people


(MENAFN- Tribal News Network) PESHAWAR, 24 May: The formation commanders conference chaired by Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa has called for reforms in FATA in accordance with the wishes of the tribal people.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (FCR), the 75th Formation Commanders Conference was held at the General Headquarters (GHQ) on Tuesday. The conference discussed situation in FATA, operation Raddul Fasaad, national security, China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and situation in Balochistan. The formation commanders discussed management at the Pak-Afghan border and expressed satisfaction over steps of the Pakistan Army.

The commanders agreed that operations in Karachi, Balochistan and other areas will continue till complete restoration of peace.

The COAS said any misadventure on the eastern or western border will be responded befittingly.
