Organizer of Justin Bieber concert faces legal action

(MENAFN- Asia Times) Two weeks after Canadian pop star Justin Bieber's concert in Mumbai, the event's organizer is facing legal action. According to the Mumbai Mirror, the entertainment department of the Thane Collectorate sent a show cause notice on Monday to Arjun Jain, managing director of White Fox, which organized the show, for allegedly not providing complete information on sponsors and partners, and allowing more people than permitted to attend the show.

The Hindustan Times quoted Aniruddha Ashtaputre, a district information officer, as saying, 'The company, in its affidavit submitted to us to seek permission for the event, did not mention any other partner or sponsor. We have sent a notice to Arjun Jain, MD of White Fox, the organizer, asking him why they should not be asked to pay a Rs2.77-crore fine for this omission.'
