Boeing inks defense, commercial deals with KSA


(MENAFN) Boeing has inked many defense and commercial deals with Saudi Arabia, boosting their tie and making thousands of jobs in both the U.S. and Saudi Arabia.

Moreover, agreements to buy Chinook helicopters and associated support services as well as guided weapon systems.

In addition, Saudi Arabia's aim to order P-8 maritime, patrol and investigation aircraft, which are based on the Boeing 737 commercial airplane.

Meanwhile, a mutual venture with the kingdom will offer sustainment services for a huge range of military platforms, while the deal also supports KSA's efforts to grow its aerospace industry.
