Jordan- King orders financial aid to 30,000 needy families in Ramadan


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, May 22 (Petra)--His Majesty King Abdullah II gave instructions, ahead of the holy month of Ramadan, to keep implementing a number of Royal initiatives to help needy families, elderly people, orphans and people with special needs across the Kingdom.

King Abdullah instructed concerned officials at the Royal Hashemite Court to provide financial aid to 30,000 needy families across the Kingdom in continuation of the Hashemite approach that reflects the keenness of His Majesty to provide basic needs to families and targeted segments especially during the holy month.

The Royal initiative shall also include support to the Ministry of Social Development to enable it to carry out a number of activities during Ramadan, covering various segments of beneficiaries, whether through the government or non-government organizations, that are either managed or supervised by the ministry.
