Three women held for public fight near property sales center

(MENAFN- Asia Times) A real estate agent, a sales assistant and a housewife were arrested on Sunday for fighting in a public place near a property sales center in Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon District.

At around noon, a real estate agent surnamed Suen, 37, tried to give a 48-year-old housewife surnamed Yip who was walking along Austin Road, a leaflet promoting a property sale, Apple Daily reported.

Yip declined to take the leaflet and had a quarrel with Suen, while a sales assistant surnamed Chen joined the argument.

The trio started slapping each other in front of Baden-Powell International House, which is adjacent to a property sales center located at the Victoria Towers residential estate in Tsim Sha Tsui.

Another real estate agent took a video that showed Yip being kicked at least four times, while name cards and leaflets strewn all over the ground. All the women swore during the fight.

Police officers arrested the three women. Yip was treated at the hospital for injuries to her face and arms. Suen, who claimed to have injured her arm, refused to go to hospital. Chan was not hurt, Ta Kung Pao reported.

Over the weekend, more than 100 real estate agents crowded the street near Victoria Towers, where a showroom and sales center for a new development nearby, Ocean Pride, are located. The Estate Agents Authority and property developer Cheung Kong Property Holdings had sent some staff to manage the crowd.
