(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Riyadh, May 21 (QNA) - King Abdullah II of Jordan said that a comprehensive cooperation on the international level is the only way to face the threats of terrorism and extremism.
He added that the positions that will be taken during the Arab-Islamic-American Summit will play a role in determining the future of that challenge. Speaking during the summit, King Abdullah II said that joint work and enhancing trust is key to dealing with the threat of terrorism and extremism. He added that reaching a fair and comprehensive solution to the Palestinian issue and protecting Al Quds as crucial to dealing with terrorism as well.
The King of Jordan said that ignorance enhances the strength of terrorist group, calling on separating between terrorist group and Islam which is based on forgiveness and moderation.
He added that reaching a fair and comprehensive solution to the Palestinian issue based on a two-state solution and the Arab Initiative for Peace will guarantee the end of the conflict between Palestine and Israel. The protection of Al Quds and the sanctities of the three heavenly religions. (QNA)
