Oman- OTF to collaborate with Stanford University on innovation, entrepreneurship


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- Oman Technology Fund (OTF) is seeking to collaborate with the US' prestigious Stanford University, officials said. OTF chairman H E Talal al Rahbi is currently visiting Silicon Valley in the US as part of a global tour. He met Stanford University officials as well as former SoftBank president Nikesh Arora.

'We hope to start working with Stanford soon on innovation and entrepreneurship. It was a good meeting in which we agreed on the action plan,' H E Rahbi tweeted. He was previously in Ireland and the UK. In the UK, he visited British Business Bank to discuss investment opportunities. OTF was founded in October 2016 with a starting capital of US$200mn to fund technology startups in the region.
