Saudi Aramco records USD50bn of deals with U.S. companies


(MENAFN) Saudi Aramco predicts to record USD50bn of contract with U.S. companies, in order to expand the kingdom's economy beyond oil export.

Accordingly, it is stated that 16 agreements with 11 companies would be registered, containing members of understanding for joint ventures.

Moreover, during the deals there was a plan by McDermott International to move some of its ship from fabrication facilities to a new ship buildings complex as well as a plan by Jacob Engineering Group with Aramco to organize business projects in the kingdom.

Therefore, Energy Minister told the conference that "we want foreign companies to look at Saudi Arabia as a platform for export to other markets."
