The Public Works Authority, Ashghal, announced that it will implement a temporary closure in both directions of part of the road located between Al Khor Hospital roundabout towards Ras Imlaiji area.
The closure starts tomorrow and will last until mid-June, in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic.
During this period, traffic coming from Al Khor Hospital roundabout towards Ras Imlaigi area can use the alternative road connected to Al Thakhira Road.
This temporary closure is to allow construction works as part of Ashghal's projects that aim to improve and enhance the network of local roads and expressways, and enhance the traffic safety across the country.
The authority requests all road users to abide by the speed limits, and follow the road signs to ensure their and others safety.
