Phoenix Gallery Announces Upcoming Marko Stout Solo Exhibition

(MENAFNEditorial) The Phoenix Gallery in NYC will be hosting a Marko Stout solo exhibition early this summer. Stout's exhibition will highlight the artist latest set of print, photography and video works. Marko Stout is considered to be one of the most relevant and by far the coolest multimedia artist working today! The artist's works where featured last April at New York's Caelum Gallery to large crowds and much critical acclaim.

Stout is especially with the younger millennial generation. Based in Manhattan, Marko Stout is famous for his gritty industrial pop style focusing on modern urban life in NYC- with hissculptures, experimental avant-garde films, installationsand vibrant aluminum prints exhibited at many fine art galleries throughout the US and Europe. Many in the artworld and media now comparing Stout to the legendary Andy Warhol and Jeff Koons, with the Huffington Post running an article, 'Is Marko Stout the Next Andy Warhol?'

Images of Stout's works have gone viral on social media in the past year- especially after making news with the record-breaking sale of his colossal figurative sculptures at the ArtExpo Show in New York City to a Berlin art collector and nightclub owner last spring. It was the largest sale at the show and one of the biggest in the history of the Expo.

Evan Carmichael stated it best that '…Marko Stout's reinvention of the pop art movement has excited many younger fans and he enjoys extraordinary popularity among the millennial generation." Marko Stout's works are windows to the soul and essence of city life bursting with urban patterns, rhythms, and female vigor. By creating this direct window into the urban realm, you will dive into a super rare space in which the human spirit is exposed in its most raw form. As best stated in the LA Times, 'Marko Stout's work represents the powerful culmination of post-modern sentiments that were sown in the mid-twentieth century. Individually, the pieces are thought provoking and dazzling, but as a collection, they are amazing!
