Thailand economy jumps slightly in Q1


(MENAFN) Thailand's economy experienced a little jump in the first quarter of 2017 as a result of the recently death of its long-reining king.

Therefore, in the cited period of 2017, there was an increasing in product by 3.3 percent yearly, up from the 3 percent of the previous quarter.

Accordingly, the growth was fuelled by the agriculture sector, government spending and growth in the export sector, whereas Thailand was expected to grow between 3.3 and 3.8 percent this year, compared with last year 3.2 percent.
