(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, May 14 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, and Minister of State for Municipal Affairs Mohammad Al-Jabri has underlined the importance of promoting agricultural and animal cooperation with Brazil.
In a press statement following receiving visiting Brazilian Minister of Agriculture, Livestock and Food Supply Blario Maggi, Al-Jabri said on Sunday that the two countries are keen on sharing expertise in agriculture and animal wealth.
Al-Jabri is also chairman of the Public Authority for Agriculture and Fisheries Affairs.
Maggi is set to hold a news conference Monday (tomorrow) to speak about meetings with Kuwaiti officials and his visit to Kuwait.
The Kuwaiti-Brazilian ties are deep-rooted and have constructive cooperation in all domains, mainly food, as Kuwait imports many agricultural and animal goods from Brazil. (end) tms.fsh.hm
