ISOICO aims to acquire shipbuilding technology from S. Korea


(MENAFN) The managing director of the Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Lines (IRISL) stated ISOICO Company intends to import South Korean technology to launch huge ships.

Additionally, the official further announced that one of IRIS's major goals is to renew deals which were postponed during the sanctions era.

Before sanctions, he posted the country has approved a pact with South Korea's Hyundai Heavy Industries Co. to establish 17 giant ships for the IRISL.

However, the official also mentioned that the agreement was temporary stopped in 7 years ago over the sanctions.
